F
ederal recognition of enslaving and brutalizing a
group of people who were forced to hand over their
human rights so this country could profit from
cotton, indigo and sugar.

American Slavery was like no other and
even the House's
apology admits that.
And I am very interested in how they're
going to "rectify the lingering consequences of the mis-
deeds committed against African-Americans under slavery
and Jim Crow".

Aggressively over-fund the public schools maybe?  I wish.
We must challenge ourselves and attempt to end the
intra-dismissiveness and emotional abuse.  We must
advocate for stronger policy to correct education and
garner stronger leadership.

However---the impact it left on the descendants of the
survivors is... well incomprehensible, from an
institu-tion that for so long humiliated, decimated
and labor-ed a group of people to the bone.

It disables logic's ability to wrap around a Federal
attempt to make amends for an entity, that created
so much emotional/spiritual turmoil many of us
are
still
struggling to self-identify---let alone find pur-
pose in community."

I'm just not convinced that a Federal apology has any weight
weight.  I'm certainly interested in how they're going to
rect-ify... but in the end the real work must happen at home.
We must tell our own stories, retell our own histories,
honestly and courage-ously.

e have waited for more than 340 years for our God-given and constitutional rights. The proclamation did not free any
slaves of the border states (Kentucky, Missouri, Maryland, Delaware, and West Virginia), or any southern state (or
part of a state) already under Union control. It first directly affected only those slaves who had already escaped to the
Union side. Hearing of the Proclamation, more slaves quickly escaped to Union lines as the Army units moved South."
Truths Self-evident
"As the Union armies conquered the Confederacy, thousands of
slaves were freed each day until nearly all (approximately 4
million, according to the 1860 census were freed by July 1865."

"Slaves in the District of Columbia were freed on April 16, 1862
and their owners compensated."

Yet as history would foreshadow the orchestration of this

act of "no liberation by Lincoln", first delivered freedom in out-
line---yet a means to an end, to make cohesive Caucasian power

"As the prophets of the eighth century B.C. left their villages and
carried their "thus saith the Lord" far beyond the boundaries of
their home towns, and just as the Apostle Paul left his village of
Tarsus and carried the gospel of Jesus Christ to the far corners of
the Greco Roman world"---so it became edict of the Ku-Klux

Hence facts illuminated by Capitol only recognizing only 246
of over 340 years of enslavement of Blacks in America.

"Collection of the facts in the federal case FWs presents in its cover
story, "To Steal A Nun's Habit", clearly identifies where and how
even graver injustice rose, orchestrated, and seeks to  exist.

"There can be no gainsaying the fact that racial injustice engulfs.  Its
ugly record of brutality widely known---this once again is the course
of justice for Black America."
